Greg

Greg Burr, MBA, CPA, CFA

Advanced Solutions, Financial Planner
I have a CPA and corporate finance background and built a long career educating C-suite executives in corporate finance roles to support both growth and turnaround scenarios. I took a high-touch approach—learning who was across the desk and adapting to their background, communication, and management styles—to help them feel heard and provide a more personalized level of service.

I reengineered processes and implemented tools to modernize and streamline finance functions. But often, as soon as my financial presentations were delivered, they were stored away and forgotten—only for another cycle to begin. Any perceived impact of my efforts was fleeting.

I had long considered fiduciary financial planning, especially in the CFP space, but hadn’t seen a model that aligned with my standards until companies like this one came onto the scene. I’ve recognized that client appreciation for what we provide grows over time—and is not forgotten.

I organize professional events through the local Financial Planning Association and CFA Societies to share current thinking in investment strategy from both industry and academia. I’m also active in the local alumni association for my alma mater.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my wife, Tracy—cooking, exploring the outdoors, making new friends, and getting to know Tucson better.
